Optical components are used to bend, split, diffuse, reflect or otherwise alter or refocus light wavelengths. This may include changing the spectrum of the light, transforming a light pattern into an electric one, or simply altering the direction or path. These items generally function without an outside power source, although they may be part of a larger system that does require a power source. Typical components within this family include lenses, filters, beamsplitters, mirrors, windows, diffusers, plates, prisms, most of which are made from optical glass types BK7, Fused Silica, SF11, LaSFN9, BaK1, and F2. Customers may also choose from any of the other optics grade crystalline materials such as Ge, Si, ZnSe, CaF2 (see Materials & Coatings) to order products for the IR or UV part of the spectrum.
AgniRoth manufactures singlets, doublets, aspherics and more complex lens assemblies built to custom specifications/tolerances.
